Whilstleblowing Policy
Ling Trust is committed to maintaining a culture of transparency, integrity, and accountability. We encourage staff, volunteers, tenants, and stakeholders to raise concerns about wrongdoing or malpractice without fear of retaliation.
What Can Be Reported?
Safeguarding concerns – Any risks or abuse involving tenants.
Financial misconduct – Fraud, misuse of funds, or unethical financial practices.
Health and safety violations – Unsafe working conditions or property hazards.
Breach of policies or legal obligations – Any non-compliance with policies or regulations.
Discrimination or harassment – Workplace misconduct affecting staff, tenants, or stakeholders.
How to Report a Concern:
Concerns can be raised confidentially via:
A direct manager or senior staff member.
The designated Whistleblowing Officer at Ling Trust.
An external regulator (such as the Care Quality Commission or Charity Commission).
Reports will be investigated fairly and impartially, and whistleblowers are protected from victimisation under UK law.
